Terms of Service

Last updated:

1. Who provides the App

Digital Clock Widget (Android package com.maize.digitalClock) is provided by EZI STUDIO INC, publishing under the developer name Maize ("we", "us", or "our"). We act as a trader when providing the app.

You can contact us about the app, these Terms, or a complaint at:

EZI STUDIO INC
Email: apps@ezi.am

These Terms describe the conditions for using Digital Clock Widget and its updates (the "App"). Please read them before using the App. Where permitted by applicable law, downloading or using the App after having a reasonable opportunity to review these Terms indicates your agreement. Where express agreement is required, these Terms do not replace that requirement. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

Nothing in these Terms takes away rights that the law gives you and does not allow us to limit, including consumer and data protection rights.

2. What the App does

The App lets you create and customize Android home-screen clock widgets, including their appearance, time zones, and date and time formats. Depending on your settings and device, it can display information about an upcoming alarm or calendar event and open other apps through widget shortcuts.

The App requires a compatible Android device and a launcher that supports widgets. Compatibility requirements are shown on Google Play for the version available to your device. Some features require permissions, other installed apps, or an internet connection.

The App displays alarm information supplied by Android or another app. It does not replace the app responsible for scheduling and sounding your alarm. Device time settings, battery restrictions, launcher behavior, permissions, and the underlying alarm or calendar app can affect displayed information and refresh timing. Check important alarms and appointments in the app that manages them.

3. Price, advertising, and optional rewards

The App is currently free to download and use and is supported by advertising. It does not currently offer paid subscriptions or in-app purchases. Your mobile provider may charge for internet access or data usage.

You may choose to watch a rewarded advertisement to unlock additional customization options, such as fonts or time-zone display options. The App identifies the reward being offered. Participation is optional, and you do not need to click an advertisement or buy an advertised product to earn the stated reward.

Reward availability depends on an advertisement being available and the stated viewing requirements being completed. If you complete those requirements but do not receive the offered reward, contact us so we can investigate and help resolve the issue.

Unlocks may be associated with an individual widget and are stored with the App's local data. Removing a widget, clearing app data, uninstalling, or changing devices may remove related settings and unlocks; restoration depends on the available backup and restore functionality. Rewards are customization benefits within the App and cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred to another person. These storage limitations do not remove any remedy available under applicable law.

We will not charge you merely because you have installed or used the App. Any future paid offering would require a separate, clearly disclosed purchase decision.

4. Permission to use the App

We grant you a non-exclusive license to install and use the App on compatible devices you own or are authorized to use, subject to these Terms. The App and its original software, designs, and branding remain the property of their respective owners.

You must use the App lawfully. You must not redistribute or sell copies of the App without permission, misrepresent it as your own, introduce malicious code, or fraudulently manipulate advertising or reward systems. You must not copy, modify, or reverse engineer the App except where applicable law or a relevant license permits it.

Third-party and open-source components remain subject to their own licenses. These Terms do not limit rights granted by those licenses or by applicable law, including rights relating to interoperability or permitted security research.

If you are not old enough to enter into this agreement under the law where you live, a parent or legal guardian must authorize your use where that law requires it.

5. Privacy, permissions, and your settings

Our Privacy Policy is available at:
https://ezi.am/privacy/dcw.html

The Privacy Policy provides information about personal data practices. Agreeing to these Terms does not itself constitute consent to personalized advertising or other processing that requires separate consent. Your choices and rights under applicable privacy law continue to apply.

You can manage device permissions in Android settings. For example, calendar access is needed to display calendar events. Denying or withdrawing a permission may prevent the corresponding feature from working. Where available, advertising privacy choices can also be managed through the App's Privacy option.

Widget configurations and customization choices are stored on your device and may be included in device backups according to your Android settings. Clearing the App's data or uninstalling it may remove those settings. Uninstalling does not by itself delete information already sent to us or to a service provider; see the Privacy Policy or contact us about applicable deletion rights.

If you choose to send a support report, it may include diagnostic attachments containing device information and App settings. Review the email and attachments before sending them.

6. Google Play and other services

Google Play, your device software, linked apps, and advertisers may have separate terms and privacy notices for their own services. These Terms govern your relationship with us concerning the App and do not replace your agreement with Google Play.

An advertisement or external link is not our endorsement of the advertised product or service. Before purchasing or sharing information with a third party, review its offer and terms. This does not exclude any responsibility we have under applicable law for our own conduct or for providers acting on our behalf.

7. Updates and changes to the App

We may update the App to fix defects, improve security or accessibility, maintain compatibility, or add or improve features. We will provide updates required by applicable law. Updates may install automatically depending on your Google Play settings.

If we need to make a change that materially reduces an existing feature, we will explain the reason and give reasonable advance notice through an appropriate channel, such as an in-app notice or Google Play update information. Urgent security or legal changes may require shorter notice. Any additional notice, consent, continued-access, or termination rights required by law remain available.

8. Your rights if something goes wrong

We will provide the App with reasonable care and skill and honor applicable legal obligations concerning its quality, description, functionality, and updates. We do not promise that every device and launcher combination will behave identically or that the App will always operate without interruption or error.

If the App fails to work as described, contact apps@ezi.am with the problem and your device and App version, if available. Depending on applicable law, you may be entitled to a correction, termination of the contract, a refund or price reduction where money was paid, or other remedies. Consumer protections may apply to free digital content as well as paid content, depending on the circumstances and local law.

Any statutory right to cancel or withdraw from a digital-content contract remains available. These Terms do not require you to waive it.

9. Responsibility for loss or damage

We remain responsible for loss or damage caused by our breach of these Terms or failure to exercise reasonable care, as required by applicable law. We do not exclude or limit liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

For other losses, we are responsible for reasonably foreseeable loss caused by our breach or negligence. Loss is reasonably foreseeable if it is an obvious consequence or was reasonably contemplated when the agreement was made. Any mandatory rule giving you greater protection takes priority over this provision.

10. Ending use

You may stop using the App and uninstall it at any time without a cancellation charge.

We may end your license for a serious breach of these Terms, such as deliberate fraud or malicious interference with the App. Where practical, we will explain the issue and give you a reasonable opportunity to correct it. Immediate action may be necessary to address an active security threat or comply with law.

If circumstances beyond our reasonable control require us to discontinue the App or an essential service, we will give reasonable notice where possible and honor applicable consumer remedies. Ending use does not remove rights or obligations that arose beforehand.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms to reflect changes in the law, security requirements, or the App features described here. We will update the date above and give reasonable advance notice of material changes through an appropriate channel. Where required, we will obtain your consent before a change applies to you. Changes will not retrospectively remove rights that have already arisen.

You can stop using the App if you do not accept revised Terms. Any additional rights you have because of a change remain available under applicable law.

12. Complaints, applicable law, and general terms

Please contact apps@ezi.am with questions or complaints so we can try to resolve them. Contacting us first is not a condition of exercising your legal rights.

These Terms do not deprive consumers, including those in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, of mandatory protections under the law of their country of habitual residence. You may bring a claim before any court that has jurisdiction under applicable law, including your local courts where that law permits. These Terms do not require arbitration or waive rights to participate in collective proceedings.

If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. A delay in enforcing a provision does not by itself waive the right to enforce it later.
